………….Escribo este artículo principalmente para no dejar escapar una idea que está tomando forma. Un grupo de empresarios en México estamos reflexionando sobre cómo llevar la industria de la inteligencia artificial y la robótica al siguiente nivel en el país.

Creemos que en los próximos cuatro años se abrirá una oportunidad extraordinaria para impulsar esta transformación, y vale la pena empezar a construir desde ahora las ideas, los modelos y las colaboraciones que pueden hacerlo posible.

Imagínate que decides construir una fábrica. No compras un terreno selvático en medio de la nada para poner tú mismo el drenaje, la subestación eléctrica y las carreteras, ¿cierto? Sería un suicidio financiero y operativo… si tienes el capital, genial pero no siempre es así, poner los recurso en lo que verdaderamente es tu negocios, es mas inteligente.

Lo que haces es buscar un Parque Industrial. Llegas a un lugar que ya tiene «vialidades», seguridad perimetral, apoyo logístico, servicios básicos y conectividad. Tú solo llegas a instalar tus máquinas y a producir.

¿Por qué, entonces, cuando hablamos de Inteligencia Artificial, las Empresas intentan «desmontar la selva» solas?

Hoy, el mercado le vende a las PYMES la idea de que comprar una suscripción de IA o contratar a un «chico que sabe de computadoras» es suficiente. Pero la realidad es cruel: el 70% de los proyectos de transformación digital fracasan.

No fracasan porque la tecnología falle. Fracasan porque la PYME intenta correr un Ferrari (IA) en un camino de terracería (procesos desordenados y datos sucios).

Bienvenido al Parque de Desarrollo Virtual

Propongo un cambio de paradigma para el Plan México: La creación de Parques de Desarrollo Virtuales. En este modelo, la PYME no «compra software»; se «muda» a una infraestructura compartida donde los cimientos ya están puestos. Es un Cowork Operativo donde la tecnología y el talento no son una carga fija, sino un servicio básico.

Esta visión de Parques Digitales de Especialización (o Virtual Industrial Parks for AI) es la evolución lógica del Cloud Computing genérico hacia la Verticalización Operativa. Mientras que AWS o Azure te dan el «terreno baldío» (servidores vacíos), tu concepto propone una «nave industrial digital llave en mano.

1. El «Agua, Drenaje y Luz» de Datos y las «Vialidades, Seguridad y apoyo logístico» de IA

En un Parque Virtual, la seguridad cibernética y los canales de datos ya están configurados. No tienes que preocuparte por si el servidor aguanta; la infraestructura (potenciada por gigantes como NVIDIA) es el «suministro eléctrico» que ya está en la toma de corriente. Solo tienes poner tu Chapa Nueva en la entrada, montar tu linea de producción y arancar tu negocio.

2. El Arquitecto vs. El Técnico

Aquí es donde llenamos el hueco que nadie está viendo. Tu Negocios no necesita a alguien que solo arregle la impresora o te pasé la clavé de tu correo. Necesita Arquitectura de Negocio.

En el Parque Virtual, el talento es fraccionado y especializado.

Es el equivalente a tener a los mejores ingenieros de mantenimiento del parque industrial cuidando tu nave, sin tener que pagarles una nómina de tiempo completo. ahora si la digitalización con AI en tu empresa tiene mas posibilidades de tener éxito.

De «Commodity» a Valor Agregado

El verdadero valor de este modelo no es la tecnología «cool». Es la operatividad sistémica y la metodología de selección, diseño e implementación de tu solución.

Cuando una PYME se muda a un Parque Virtual, deja de perder el tiempo peleando con el Excel y empieza a usar la IA para lo que realmente importa: predecir ventas, optimizar la logística del nearshoring y ofrecer un servicio que una empresa pequeña, por sí sola, jamás podría costear.

El Leapfrogging Digital con AI.

México tiene una oportunidad histórica con el Plan México. No necesitamos que cada PYME aprenda a programar. Necesitamos que cada dueño de negocio aprenda a ser un Líder y llevar estas nuevos herramientas y tocologías a su negocios y genera bienestar para todos sus empleados y familias.

Es momento de dejar de construir «fábricas digitales» a costos altísimos con riegos altos  y empezar a habitar ecosistemas donde la eficiencia sea el estándar, no el milagro.

………….I am writing this article mostly to capture an idea that is starting to take shape. A group of entrepreneurs in Mexico have been reflecting on how to take the artificial intelligence and robotics industry in the country to the next level.

We believe the next four years could open an extraordinary window of opportunity to accelerate this transformation. It feels like the right moment to begin shaping the ideas, models, and collaborations that could make it possible.

Imagine you decide to build a factory. You would not buy a piece of wild land in the middle of nowhere and start installing the sewage system, electrical substation, and roads yourself, right? That would be operational and financial suicide. If you have unlimited capital, great. But that is rarely the case. It is far more intelligent to invest your resources in what is actually your core business.

What you do instead is look for an industrial park. You move into a place where the roads, perimeter security, logistics support, utilities, and connectivity are already in place. You simply arrive, install your machines, and start producing.

So why, when it comes to Artificial Intelligence, do companies try to clear the jungle on their own?

Today the market sells SMEs the idea that buying an AI subscription or hiring «a guy who knows computers» is enough. But the reality is harsher. Around 70 percent of digital transformation projects fail.

They do not fail because the technology does not work. They fail because SMEs try to run a Ferrari, artificial intelligence, on a dirt road made of messy processes and poor quality data.

I propose a shift in thinking within the framework of Plan México. Instead of every company building its digital infrastructure alone, we create Virtual Development Parks. In this model, SMEs do not simply buy software. They move into a shared infrastructure where the foundations are already built. It is essentially an operational coworking space where technology and talent are not fixed costs but basic services.

This idea of Digital Specialization Parks, or Virtual Industrial Parks for AI, is the natural evolution of generic cloud computing toward operational specialization. Platforms like AWS or Azure give you empty land, servers and infrastructure waiting to be configured. What we need is the equivalent of a turnkey digital industrial facility.

The Data Utilities and the AI Logistics Network

In a Virtual Park, cybersecurity and data pipelines are already configured. Companies do not need to worry about whether their systems can scale. The computing infrastructure, powered by companies like NVIDIA and others in the global ecosystem, becomes the equivalent of electrical power already available at the outlet.

You simply install your digital operation, connect your data, and start producing value.

The Architect versus the Technician

This is where we address a gap that many companies still do not see clearly. Businesses do not just need someone who fixes printers or resets email passwords. They need business architecture.

Inside a Virtual Park, talent is modular and specialized.

It is the equivalent of having the best industrial maintenance engineers in the park taking care of your factory, without needing to keep them on your full time payroll. Under those conditions, digital transformation powered by AI suddenly has a much higher probability of success.

From Commodity to Value Creation

The real value of this model is not the cool technology.

It is systemic operational capability and the methodology used to select, design, and implement solutions.

When an SME moves into a Virtual Park, it stops wasting time fighting with spreadsheets and disconnected systems. Instead, it can begin using AI for what truly matters. Predicting demand. Optimizing logistics in a nearshoring environment. Delivering a level of service that a small company alone could never afford to build.

Leapfrogging the Traditional Path

Mexico has a historic opportunity with Plan México. We do not need every SME owner to learn how to code. What we need is for business leaders to understand how to lead in the era of artificial intelligence and bring these tools into their organizations in a way that generates prosperity for their employees and their families.

It is time to stop trying to build isolated digital factories at enormous cost and high risk.

Instead, we should start building and inhabiting ecosystems where efficiency is the standard, not a miracle.

The question is simple.
